[Winter certainly had a bit of added challenge with these new wings. Reiner had tried tightly folding his wings against his back and wearing his patched sweater over them, but that hadn't been much of a success. Certainly they were warmer that way, but the tight pressure had been anything but comfortable. In the end he had let them free once more. He could handle the chill, he couldn't handle the pressure.
He spies Rakka just a bit too late. If he had seen here a few moments earlier, before she had fallen, he probably would've offered to help her with those boxes. That kind of set up was just an accident waiting to happen. But before he can say anything, the accident has happened, and Reiner winces slightly in sympathy.
